Community Bible Chapel began as a small bible study in 1974. The participants felt that there was a need for a church that was very Bible and Christ centered. As this group grew, they were able to buy the present building and Community Bible Chapel came to be in 1976.
CBC became a part of the Evangelical Free Church of America in 1987. Being a part of the EFCA gave Community Bible Chapel an opportunity go gain fellowship and relationship with over 1,200 like-minded churches nationwide and worldwide.
In 1996, a new 4,200 square foot education building was built, debt free, with members doing most of the work themselves.
Today, Community Bible Chapel continues as a family of Christ-centered believers with a strong tradition of faithfully teaching the Word of God.
